Area / Multi-Site Business Manager

We are actively recruiting for an experienced Area/Multi-site business manager to join this established but growing healthcare business – operating throughout Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire.

Our client operated a multi-million pound healthcare service business across 15 sites in Bedfordshire & Hertfordshire. Due to ambitious expansion plans they are now looking to add a commercially aware and results driven Area/Multi-site business manager to their team. As a family run business the Area/Multi-Site business manager will report directly in to the Operations Director and the business owner and hold operational responsibility for up to 15 locations and in excess of 200 multi disciplinary staff.

The Area/Multi-site business manager will be responsible for maximising sales and profit through effective coaching and performance management of staff. Operational responsibilities include maintaining professional standards and customer service excellence across the business.

Key responsibilities include: –
Analysing and monitoring P&L and optimising budgets across locations.
Agreeing and monitoring targets.
Conducting regular audits.
Lead, manage and develop a team of focussed high performing practice managers including coaching and mentoring.
Maintain accurate industry knowledge base, keeping on top of business and legislative/regulatory requirements.
Recruit, retain and develop admin and clinical staff as required.
Work with operations management to successfully integrate new sites and acquisitions.

Ideal candidates will have experience managing and developing diverse teams in an operational, retail or other customer focussed B2C field. Excellent leadership and communication skills are essential as is proven commercial acumen and strong budgetary/financial management capability.
