Digital Marketing Executive – Content Specialist

Linked Recruitment are recruiting a Digital Marketing Executive for our Poole based client.

You will specialise in creating content, managing the company’s blog etc so if you have a passion for writing then this will be the perfect role for you.

Your main role within the business will be to ensure that all of the content published on our client’s sites is of a high standard.

You will work closely with the team to develop their content strategy, ensuring that you continue to improve the content that they provide to their customers.

To ensure that you are the right candidate for the position, our client will want to see skills that prove you can find and research popular topics, find an interesting angle on the topic, and produce content that users will respond to.

As well as working on and improving the written content for their site, you will also be given the opportunity to manage your own marketing campaigns. These can range from planning events, to taking ownership of our email marketing – and a lot of things inbetween.

Candidates with knowledge of search engine optimisation will be at an advantage, although this is not essential for the role.

Required Skills:

– Excellent copywriting skills

– A-level or Degree Level candidate

– Willingness to learn

– Ability to think of innovative ideas

– Willing to learn new technologies to develop the brands

– A keen interest in email marketing

Beneficial Skills:

– Marketing experience either through work or study

– SEO knowledge and experience

– Web development

– Photoshop experience (or other design tools)

– Running a personal blog or being active on the main social networks

– Basic knowledge and understanding of HTML and CSS
