What we want from you:
* Meet the company’s high standards as you liaise with the designers to produce quality drawings, models and sketches.
* Your previous experience and apt CAD skills will allow you to produce general arrangements and detailed manufacturing drawings on a wide array of projects.
* Undertake the development and expansion of the design team by assisting the contracts/site team as you conduct site surveys.
* Team work – experienced draughtspersons will assist in mentoring of junior members to strengthen the department as a whole
Ideal candidates will have:
* 3D CAD / BIM Modelling Experience (ideally Tekla Structures however we can train as necessary)
* BIM Workflow Experience
* Undertake CDM Assessments on assigned projects in accordance with CDM 2015
* Experience of using alternative materials (Concrete, Plastics, FRP, KLP, HDPE, Stainless Steel, Timber and composite / hybrid structures).
* Experience of Mechanical & Electrical Systems Design (generally actuated structures [i.e. Rotork or similar] using gearboxes, motors, PTO systems etc.)
