Salary: £30,000 – £42,000 per year
A market leader in their sector, our client is an established and highly regarded Fresh Fruit Importer and Supplier to the major multiples, currently seeking a Procurement Assistant to be dedicated to a specific product category.
Reporting to the Procurement Manager, the successful individual will assist to ensure products are supplied correctly and on time. Competitively priced and sourced, suppliers will be reviewed regularly with the best value negotiated for the business. The role may involve some travel, in the UK and abroad.
We are seeking an individual who has some experience within a similar role from the Fresh Produce sector. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven and ambitious individual who is seeking a platform to develop a career within the Fresh Produce sector, either a Graduate with a years‘ placement in industry or the next step up the ladder, excellent communication skills with the ability to negotiate contracts is key.
