Genesis Housing Association are looking for a Part Time Customer Service Officers to work in their busy call centre in Rochford (Essex).

The part time role is from Monday to Sunday including evenings, alternate weekends and bank holidays during festive periods based on a 20 hour week rota.

The rota will be:

Week one – Tue 17.00pm – 22.00pm, Wed 17.00pm – 22.00pm, Sat and Sun 14.00pm – 22.00pm
Week two – Mon 16.00pm – 22.00pm, Thurs 17.00pm – 22.00pm, Fri 17.00 – 22.00pm

This will remain the pattern but may change in the future.

The Customer Service Officers will be responsible for dealing with inbound customer calls for emergency repairs and responding to vulnerable customers often in need for emergency services to attend. Whenever our customers have questions or issues, you’ll be the person they contact. You’ll deliver a consistent, reliable customer focused service, ensuring value for money and responsive services to all customers of Genesis.

Required:
*Customer focused and shows empathy
*Takes ownership and takes responsibility in seeing issues through to the end
*Excellent communication skills
*Positive attitude
*Willing to work towards achieving targets
*Ability to deal with difficult customers
*Can work well in a team and demonstrates respect for internal and external stakeholders
*Basic IT skills
*Responds to change positively

Desirable:
*Experience using Northgate system
*Housing/repairs background
*Previous experience in a customer service/call centre environment

The pay rate is £14.8PAYE
