Medical Sales Manager (Wound Care)

Salary: £42,000 per year

Our client, a successful manufacturer of wound care treatments, is seeking a Territory Sales Manager. This is a home and field based role covering East England and the Midlands (Northamptonshire, Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire, Norfolk, Lincolnshire, Cambridgeshire, Suffolk, Essex, Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire)

Brief Description of Job

Responsible for achieving territory sales objectives through field-based selling activities which include cultivating business partnerships with key decision makers, driving market share and sales growth and achievement of budgetary targets

Essential Requirements:

• Successful Medical Sales experience in Wound Care

• Accustomed to selling into NHS Trusts including A&E & Theatre Departments

• Good understanding of the current NHS structure

• Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills

• Effective time and territory management together with excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Current clean driving licence

Role Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed sales budgets through implementation of a clear and logical plan to achieve overall territory sales objectives

• Plan and document daily call routine to ensure appropriate coverage of key accounts, taking into account sales time allocation, sales potential and geographical location

• Utilise the CRM tool for the management of sales information

• Develop knowledge of competitive activity both within the overall Territory and at major accounts

• Develop and maintain long-term relationships that lead to increasing use of products within target accounts

• Demonstrate clear understanding of clinical and technical product knowledge
