Salary: £38,400 – £42,000 per year
My client is seeking a Production Technician to work in a fast paced manufacturing company.
Responsibilities
* Responsible for running and up keeping machinery and equipment.
* Ensure all machinery and equipment is running efficiently, checked and maintained within the laid down specifications.
* To achieve production targets in accordance with daily/weekly manufacturing plan.
* To carry out PPM’s when required
* To be aware of reject production ie high wastage and process loss
* To change over equipment for various production runs
Requirements
* Injection Moulding experience is essential
* Must have worked within a busy production role in manufacturing
* Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics
* PLC controllers and an understanding of tooling requirements.
* Planned Preventative Maintenance experience
* An awareness of high wastage / process loss and down time
