A Regional Business Development Manager Job in Leeds paying £48,000 – £72,000 plus bonus, company car and benefits whose responsibility will be to cover the Yorkshire and Humber regions. You’ll work as part of a wider team and will focus on finding and developing corporate relationships with the aim of securing new business.

Your new role
You will closely with the Regional Development Director to identify and exploit commercial opportunities. You’ll work as part of a wider team with a specific commercial focus on finding and developing introducers, you’re primary focus will be the generation of bridging, auction and commercial applications. You’ll continue to manage relationships and will protect your territory and grow your account bases as much as possible. You’ll produce a territory plan to define how new targets will be achieved. You’ll identify, qualify and pursue new target intermediaries in the region and will develop relationships at all levels, you’ll develop and capture appropriate account plans, with supporting contact strategies, target information and activity on CRM. You’ll network extensively both internally and externally building key introducer relationships. You’ll be proactive in proposition development: feeding back market insights, broker introducers and customer requirements and competitor information to the product development teams. You’ll be a brand ambassador for the company in the territory, enhancing reputation or the business.
What you’ll need to succeed
You’re previous experience will lead to your success; you’ll be experienced when it comes to mapping your market place out and putting together territory plans. You’ll have a proven track record in sales exceeding targets in a fast paced environment. You’ll be able to demonstrate a network of professional introducers and have a strong understanding of the secured lending market. You’ll respond well to a challenge and will be able to communicate at all levels. You’ll be confident in your approach and will be able to spot opportunities with the aim of securing new business.
What you’ll get in return
You’ll be offered a salary of £40 – £60,000 subject to experience plus bonus, company car and benefits which include 24 days holiday plus bank holidays and your birthday off, a pension scheme after 3 months service, life assurance, health cash plan, critical illness cover, private medical insurance (after a qualifying period).
