Audit Accounts Accountant

Salary: £36,000 – £42,000 per year

Accountant – Chartered Accountant – Audit – Office – Independent – ACCA – CA

Qualified Accountant – Great team – Audit experience essential. Experience over qualifications but ideally ACCA / CA

An independent firm of Chartered Accountants based in central Scotland with an exciting opportunity for a qualified accountant with audit experience to join the accounts department.  2022 starter – A lovely business with a quality and people centric approach! 

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Preparation of Financial Statements for sole traders, partnerships, limited companies and charitable organisations
• Preparation and completion of company and charity audits
• Preparation of Corporate and Personal Tax Returns
• Preparation of Management Accounts
• Submission of documents to Companies House; HMRC and other bodies i.e. OSCR
• Corresponding with various organisations on behalf of clients
• Dealing with client queries in a professional and timely manner

Skills:

• At least 3 years experience in private practice is essential
• Experience of accountancy software i.e. Iris and Sage, although full training and support will be provided if required
• Audit experience is essential
• Good Microsoft Office knowledge including Excel, Outlook and Word
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
• Ability to work to deadlines and prioritise jobs is key
