Quantity Surveyor

Quantity Surveyor (Contractor Support) – up to £45k (DoE) + 33 days holiday (including statutory days) + pension + discretionary bonus

Due to a growing workload we are seeking to add an experienced Quantity Surveyor to our team.

Addison Hunt is an ambitious and progressive Chartered consultancy based in Loughborough, Leicestershire and provides Quantity Surveying & Project Management Services to both Clients and Contractors. We have a wealth of experience in delivering schemes throughout the country across various sectors including residential, healthcare, industrial and commercial.

We are currently working with all stakeholders within the construction industry from Clients, Developers to Sub-Contractors in both the private and public sectors.

Ideally you should live within a 45 minute commute of either Loughborough or Lincoln. However a hybrid approach to working location over the working week is expected with a mixture of home, office and site.

The right candidate will be capable of undertaking a wide range of pre and post contract QS duties and have the confidence to be the lead QS for the Contractor on the project. With the ability to procure sub-contractors and suppliers, manage the payment process, prepare reports and identify and price variations.

You will report directly to a Director, working within our principles and processes but with autonomy to manage your own tasks.

A UK Driving Licence and use of a car is essential as our Clients operate nationally.

Ideally you will hold an academic qualification in Quantity Surveying, present a professional image, be able to manage your own time and be a team player.

The successful candidate will be supported with on-going training (e.g. achieving professional membership of the RICS) and investment into new, up to date working practices e.g. software tools.
