Estimator (Industrial and Commercial)

Salary: £54,000 – £78,000 per year

Job Title: Estimator ( Industrial and Commercial)

Location: Surrey or London 

Salary: up to 65K/annum + pension + Private Medical + discretionary bonus.

We are recruiting a I&C Estimator due to growth in the business. This role is pivotal to manage processes and delivery of projects, 

Key Responsibilities: in the role: Estimator

• Prepare tender and contract documents 
• Lead on the production of target sites – including – EV charging, LV/HV connections. 
• Produce Bill of Quantities
• Own and operate the route selection process from POC (point of connection) to site and identify optimal solutions.
• Tracking of ICP commercial progress.
• Tracking of ICP delivery progress. 
• As the Quantity Surveyor or Estimator – you will be involved in Cost Analysis, Pricing clarifications, Report writing.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement. 

Person Specification – Estimator 

• Electrical industry “new connection” or Electrical Distribution experience. 
• Power Distribution (HV or LV) gained from an DNO, IDNO, ICP, M&E or OEM.
• Experience of dealing successfully with DNOs and ICP’s. 
• Managing coordinating multiple projects. 
• Experience in Construction. Electrical or Civil background will be considered.
• Strong Analytical skills. 
• Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope.
• Proven commercial skills including procurement and contract management. 
• Comfortable in fast-paced, high-temp environment, with high volumes of activity.
