Shift; Monday – Friday, Various shifts & some weekend work

Location; Melton Mowbray, Commutable from Oakham, Loughborough, Old Dalby

We are recruiting an Industrial Sewer to join a busy and growing team in Melton Mowbray. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to step into a manufacturing environment.

The Role;

– An understanding of the entire construction process of a product which would include
seams, overlocking and hemming
– Monitor daily stock levels and replenish
– Working with Section Leaders to ensure all workflows run smoothly and efficiently and
act accordingly if issues have been identified
– Ensure deliveries from Stores are checked and signed for
– Ensure stock supply is sufficient to achieve daily operational targets
– Full awareness and commitment to Health and Safety

Our Ideal Candidate;

– Experience of working in a manufacturing environment preferred
– Basic machinist skills would be an advantage
– The ideal candidate must be flexible in their approach, be self motivated, have excellent
attention to detail, be a strong team player and capable of working to targets
– Basic numeracy and literacy is a requirement
