Graduate Design Engineer

Salary: £26,400 – £30,000 per year

Here is the opportunity to enhance your knowledge as a graduate design engineer for a well established air conditioning equipment manufacturer. They are award winning, and well known throughout the air conditioning industry. They have a low staff turnover which is proven through the good team environment which is provided and offer training throughout to make the staff feel supported.

As a Graduate Design Engineer you will be:-

• Working on assisting and overseeing the development and design changes of a range of products they make.
• Producing CAD models, fabrication drawings, helping to create punch press programs for the CNC machine, overseeing testing, cooling prototypes, approving drawings
• Working in the office in Havant in Hampshire – Monday to Thursday 8am till 5pm and Friday finish at 1/1:30pm

Skills Needed:-

• Having HNC in mechanical engineering is needed.
• Having an understanding of fluid dynamics or thermodynamics is essential
• Experience with air conditioning products or sheet metal fabrication would be beneficial but not essential
• Living within travelling distance to their office in Havant
