Operations Director – Emea (Food Start-Up)

This time around, we are thrilled to be working with one of the most exciting young food businesses out there. They are a leader in their market and experiencing explosive growth. They are now looking for an Operations Director EMEA to be part of the leadership team and continue the rapid development of their end to end supply chain function across the region.

Responsibilities include:

* Strong customer facing supply chain management – interacting with key UK and International customers – delivering great service and cost saving solutions
* Hands on management and development of operations team – Demand planning, customer service, logistics (importing and exporting), procurement, warehousing and quality and packaging
* Scope analysis and implementation into new markets – reviewing Import Regulations, Supply Options and Duty
* System improvements, ensuring the use of SAP is maximised in line with the growth of the business
* Driving improvements of key metrics e.g. on shelf availability, cost to serve etc

Key requirements:

* Experience in a senior leadership role, managing the end to end operations/ supply chain, preferably within an FMCG or start up environment
* Previous experience leading large scale, strategic operational change / growth
* Excellent stakeholder management at all levels
* Someone who can work in a dynamic and agile environment with a lack of structure
* Strong people manager who can develop staff
* Someone who is enthusiastic about the business and can immerse themselves in the culture
* Financial and Excel literacy and experience setting and delivering on operational and CAPEX budgets.
