Health & Safety Advisor

Salary: £32,400 – £34,800 per year

Francesca’s Recruitment is recruiting for a Health & Safety Advisor based in Chesterfield, providing practical support to the company and its sites.

Health and Safety Advisor Responsibilities:

• Conduct site visits, inspections & formal HSQ audits & reviews at Client sites.
• Work proactively with Clients to establish and maintain a programme of continuous improvement in the management of their H & S and Quality Management Systems.
• Carry out risk assessments and COSHH assessments.
• Advise on safe operational procedures.
• Assist Client’s in the investigation of accidents and incidents.
• Develop & deliver safety briefings.
• Work with the team to maintain Client relationships & develop new business.

Health and Safety Advisor Requirements:

• NEBOSH or IOSH (General Certificate) qualified or working towards
• COSHH Trained
•  Experience in provision of advice to managers/supervisors
• Handling of H&S investigations
•  Experience of formulating, implementing, and revising H&S policies and procedures
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Location – Chesterfield

Hours – Monday to Friday 8.30am – 5.30pm and every other Saturday 8am – 1pm
