Multi – Skilled Maintenance Engineer

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrically biased Maintenance Engineer to work for our client who boast a state-of-the-art pile manufacturing facility in Newark.
A multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer is required to join the team, electrically qualified, who will be reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor.
• Undertake reactive maintenance,
• ensuring we minimize downtime.
• Repairing faults as necessary
• Work flexibly to ensure that the maintenance activity is done with minimal disruption to production
• Ensure work is conducted in line with the process and procedures and the H&S policy
• completing all necessary risk assessments and paperwork as required.
• Maintain machine cleanliness, and drive improvement and efficiency
• Batching plant.
• Conveyors
• Mould carousel system.
• Rebar welding equipment.
• Overhead cranes.
• Hydraulics
• Pneumatics

The successful candidate will:

Apprentice trained or NVQ in a related subject (e.g. engineering, electrical, mechanical)
Preferably with 17th Edition
Previous experience of working in a fast paced industrial maintenance role and ideally in a heavy industry sector
Experience of undertaking reactive and planned maintenance on machinery and facilities
PLC experience (Ideally Allen Bradley)
Desirable skills/ experience include:
The ability to modify/program PLCs
Experience/knowledge of precast concrete equipment.
