Motorsport Assembly Technician

Salary: £21.6 per hour

Summary Of Job Function:

* Assembly of low volume, high value driveline systems for a variety of automotive customers.

Required Skills/Aptitude:

* Experience in the assembly of complex, high precision mechanical, hydraulic and/or electrical systems within the Motorsport industry. Experience with Gearbox/Transmissions would be highly desirable.
* Precision measurement from first principles using manual measurement equipment.
* Ability to read engineering design and assembly drawings.
* Working as part of a team to achieve team objectives.
* Good communication skills with ability to talk to customers and sensitivity to commercial factors.
* Clear, logical thinker with the ability to understand and solve problems.
* Intermediate level of PC and general computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Excel.

This contract will initially be until the end of 2020 but, all being well, there may be the option to renew into 2021 subject to workloads.

This contract is paying £21.6 /hr LTD or £15.35/hr PAYE (inclusive of the holiday pay element). Umbrella contracts also available. This role will be working 37.5 hours per week (Mon-Fri). Paid overtime available subject to project demands and manager approval.
