Salary: £26,000 per year
£26,000 per year PLUS BONUS…….Job Title: Time Served Assembly Technician
The hours of work for this role are: 37 Hours per week (You may be required to work overtime during peak periods)
Duties are:
Assemble steel sections
Work on rental fleet conveyors (modifications, refurbishments or check over).
Work on existing customers conveyors (modifications, refurbishments or check over).
Fabrication of component parts.
Fabrication of guards
Person Specification:
Assemble to engineering drawings, sketches and verbal instructions.
Ability to work with a range of hand tools (drills, grinders etc.).
Ability to work with a range of machine tools (guillotine, folder, drills, saws, lathes etc.).
Ability to work independently unsupervised or in a small team.
Ability to use lifting aids, training will be given; until training has been completed assistance would be given by someone who has completed the training.
Ability to measure and “mark out”.
Ability to track belts safely (training will be given).
Welding qualifications are an advantage but not essential
