Job Title: Pipe Fitter

Location: Worcestershire

The Role:
Successful organisation based in Worcestershire are looking to recruit experienced Pipe
Fitters to manipulate and fit pipe-work to gas and air products in an aesthetically pleasing way.

Key duties will include:
~ Joining of pipes using brazing and soldering techniques.
~ Assembly and joining of pipes up to 32mm diameters.
~ Joining of pipes using flanges and couplings up to 4″ diameters.
~ Assist with general assembly.
~ Manipulation of copper, stainless and finned pipes (4-38mm) using cold and heat bending techniques.
~ To ensure health & safety requirements are maintained at all times
~ Work in a lean environment, while adhering to general ‘5S’ and good housekeeping.
~ Fitting of pipes to large assemblies.

Successful candidate:
To be successful in the role of Pipe Fitter you will ideally be trained to NVQ level 3 in Mechanical Manufacturing Engineering, have a recognised equivalent or time served apprenticeship. You must also have the ability to read and interpret technical engineering specifications and drawings and be able to fully utilise pipe bending equipment.

Location:
Worcestershire is commutable from Bromgrove, Redditch, Studley, Bidford Upon Avon, Stratford Upon Avon, Evesham, Worcester, Droitwich, Rubery, Rednal, Kings Norton, South Birmingham and the M42 corridor.
