Management Information Analyst

Salary: £31,200 per year

Do you love a spreadsheet and have a good working knoweldge of Excel as well as some strong administration skills? Do you enjoy analysing large volumes of data? A local business is looking for a Management Information Analyst and Pricing support to join their team. You will be working in a small team to provide pricing anaylsis and administration support. This is a varied role that will involve updating contract prices, quoting, updating and entering data and reporting.

Responsibilities of the Management Information Analyst role

• Assist with the extraction, validation and analysis of large volumes of data
• Help to produce summaries, reports, presentations and recommendations for Customers
• Maintain customer contract terms to include: Contract Additions, Deletions, Discontinued Items/Replacements, Updates and Uploads
• Working within the team to proactively monitor business and performance trends to identify and communicate areas where performance improvements and cost reductions can be achieved for both customers and the business.
• Assisting in maintaining supplier’s product file including: Adding new products to a catalogue and Updating Details (descriptions, costs and RRP/Net Prices)
• Recoding New Customer Proposals to include standardization to maximise savings and profit
• Help with pricing new customer bids in line with company profit targets and saving requirements

• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Experience of working to deadlines, using initiative and prioritising workload
• Good interpersonal skills to work as part of a team and support with customer queries
• Strong organisational and administration skills
• Computer literate with strong knowledge of Excel and good familiarity of other Microsoft programs

The role will initially be based at the offices in Portsmouth but some home working is possible once training is completed
