Salary: £36,000 – £42,000 per year
Cambridge Test Engineer – £30K-£35K Wireless/Radio
I am looking for a Functional Test Engineer for my client in Cambridge. You will carry out functional and regression testing of their mobile digital radio products. You will work as part of a dynamic team of Test Engineers and will interface with various other technical disciplines.
Main Duties;
+ Analysis and evaluation of requirements to provide proposals for technical solutions and test approaches
+ Design and definition of test cases for both manual and automated testing
+ Integration testing of software within the software and hardware platform
+ Scripting (both in English and in code) of test cases
Skills;
+ Extensive knowledge of product level testing
+ Thorough understanding of the complete software development lifecycle
+ Proven experience of testing Wireless hardware and software products
+ Experience producing test cases from functional specifications, user guides and operational scenarios
+ Knowledge of automation languages and tools (TESTSTAND, TTCN, PYTHON, PERL)
+ Radio / TETRA/ DMR / Mobile knowledge would be beneficial
The salary for this position will be between £36,000 – £42,000and £35K depending on experience.
