Salary: £26,000 – £28,080 per year

Primary SEMH Learning and Behaviour Support

I’m currently working with a Special Primary School in East London for the recruitment of dedicated Learning and Behaviour Support Assistants to support SEMH students with maintaining a positive attitude towards education and learning.

We are looking for positive role models that the students can trust and feel safe around to help them remain focused and enthusiastic about learning. Generally, the students have low confidence about their education and ability so you will need to be positive, resilient and consistent to help them overcome this barrier.

Essentially, we are seeking candidates who have experience supporting SEMH and Behaviour That Challenges, so experience working in Pupil Referral Units, working with Ex-Offenders and working with LAC (Looked After Children) would be ideal. However, if you have previous experience coaching youth sports or motivating young people then this will be heavily considered.
