My client has recently embarked upon a new and exciting journey, with huge investment recently agreed, capax projects underway, and a newly expanded customer base, my client is looking to replace their current Quality Manufacturing Manager due to their recent promotion to a group level role.

The role

• To implement quality control into all aspects of the manufacturing process to ensure products produced meets all customer requirements.
• To enhance relationships and develop customer loyalty by supporting the Technical Service Team.
• To provide an additional resource for customer complaint resolution, addressing non-conforming product containment, corrective, and preventive actions
• To provide an additional resource focusing on the shopfloor quality control processes and procedures optimising; line equipment set-up and challenge sample, job on/off reviews, panoply of glass samples limits, accept and reject features and validate complaint close out actions.
• To cover and support the Site Quality Manger role as required.
• To review and monitor production performance and line set-up verification to formulate, develop and implement processes / procedures to ensure compliance with customer quality standards.
• To liaise closely with Technical Services on complaints resolution to ensure execution in the agreed response period of all complaints across all departments.
• Assist with completing corrective and preventive actions formulating the customers complaint response.
• Manage and monitor product improvements plans to ensure they are carried out in a timely manner, keeping all associated departments fully informed.

To be considered:

• Quality control lead/senior engineer/manager experience in a 24/7 manufacturing plant environment.
• Strong quality tooling experience including RCA, ICA, CI
