Site Project Manager

Our client is looking for a site project manager. Job spec below:

Role

§Reporting to the EfW Contracts Manager.

§Responsible for managing all aspects of project build from installation to commissioning of Energy from Waste process facilities.

§ Attending site and project meetings.

§Monitoring build, installation and commissioning scheduling in accordance with the contact

§Witnessing installation, commissioning and testing of systems and equipment

§Produce and present regular reports for Head Office management team

§Report any deviation from project contract/build schedule to head office management team

§Interface closely with prime contractors and their team

§Project managing third party designs and providing design assistance to installation and commissioning teams. Liaising with clients, prime contractor and subcontractors.

§Part of a multi-disciplined team of engineers responsible for the design management of water, wastewater, energy from waste and bio-solids treatment plants.

§The role will be based predominantly at the project site with occasional travel to head office in Southampton and client’s offices.

Responsibilities

Business –
§That all operations are carried out in accordance with the company management system, policy objectives and statutory and contractual requirements.

§The implementation of the company management systems for health, safety, the environment and quality in conjunction with the TCL Systems Department.

§That all work is completed to the Client’s satisfaction, within budget.

§Establishing and maintaining working relationships and effective communication with all stakeholders.

General –
§Responsible for management of project specific deliverables

§Interpreting and understanding client requirements from client documents (drawings, specifications, correspondence, etc.)

§Communication with client, prime contractor, external design resources and subcontractors to ensure compliance with specification.

§Liaison with Project Manager and project team to ensure contract compliance.

§Management of internal and external project specific costs in liaison with Project Manager

§Undertaking and checking of design calculations/test results including flue gas treatment plants and steam boilers.

§Assist in the Development of process control philosophies with the process engineer, ICA engineer and suppliers.

§Undertake design Risk Assessments to support detailed design proposals.

§Responsible for preparing detailed cost reports.

Experience

§Deep understanding of ATT processes namely Gasification and Pyrolysis.

§Previous site/project management experience on an energy from waste plant

§Commissioning and testing of flue gas treatment plants

§Report writing, verifying test results obtained from combustion chambers, steam boilers and flue gas treatment plants
