If you want to work in an academy with pupils who have positive attitudes to learning, supportive leadership and tailored professional learning opportunities then we want to hear from you!
Here at Meadstead Primary Academy we have a special and unique learning community that is proud to serve the village of Royston, and surrounding areas. Our staff commute not just from Barnsley, but from Wakefield, Doncaster, Sheffield and beyond.
The children benefit from the academy having a shared ethos of excellent teaching and learning alongside a keen focus of improving teaching and learning. As well as our mainstream school, we are proud to provide additional support for children with communication and interaction difficulties through our established Communication and Interaction Resource Provision and Hive Assessment Centre. All children in these settings have an EHCP with communication and interaction identified as their primary area of need.
We are looking for a passionate, motivated and dedicated SEND Learning Support Assistant to work as part of our Communication and Interaction Resource Provision team. The role will involve supporting children both in the resource provision and in accessing the mainstream provision.
If you are truly inspirational, highly motivated and forward-thinking, with the energy and passion to change lives then this could be an excellent opportunity for you.
