Job Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor Change Control Top Regional Contractor
Location: Central London
Start Date: Immediately
Duration: 6 months+
Pay Rate: £360 – £600temp

Senior QS is required to work on Cross Rail Tunnel fit-out project at a major central London Station working for an internationally renowned civil engineering contractor. The senior QS will report into the project commercial manager and be responsible for 1 QS and will either be required to manage change control (compensation events) or be responsible for series of subcontract packages which would include: E&M both LV & HV, piling & tunnelling. Whether you will be put on change control or package management will depend on your skills set. The client is Cross Rail, the contract type is NEC3 Option C and the project duration is until 2018/2020

The successful candidate will be a qualified SQS, will have experience working for a quality civil engineering main contractor, major project experience and have a good working knowledge of NEC3 forms of contract. Ideally you would have worked on a major rail station modernisation and be well versed at dealing with multiple interfaces and demanding clients such as LUL and Network Rail.
