Salary: £288 – £300 per day
Approach Personnel are currently seeking a Site Engineer on a contract for a period of a Temp to Perm Basis. The projects are located across the Midlands and will consist of Schools, Housing and Commercial builds. The site engineer does not require own kit and will be available to start immedietley.
Job Details:
You will be undertaking and setting out duties
Checking drawings and quantities and ensuring that the calculations are accurate for the work
Monitor contractors
Insuring all health & safety is carried out to a high level
Helping with the selection and purchase of materials for use in the construction and their value
Liaising with any consultants and / or sub-contractors engaged in the project
Overseeing quality control and safety matters on the site, and ensuring that regulations are up kept
Resolving any unexpected technical difficulties, and other problems that may occur
Quality Assurance
Development of strong team working relationships
Requirements:
CSCS card / An industry applicable qualification
Working knowledge of CAD
Working knowledge of microsoft packages
Self motivated
Be able to organise yourself
Be able to work in a strong team environment
An excellent communicator
