Windows Server Migration Engineer needed for a 3 month contract opportunity with Yoh’s client located in Watford with travel to London paying up to £408 per day.
The Big Picture – Top Skills You Should Possess:
* A proven history of Windows server migrations
* Expert knowledge of windows server 2003 – 2012
* Migrations to cloud based platforms
* Expert knowledge of wintel technologies such as AD, VMware, Citrix, ESX.
What You’ll Be Doing:
* You will work directly with clients on Windows Server migrations.
* You will be responsible for a full technical assessment, migration planning and full migration execution of Windows Servers.
* You will provide technical reports and updates throughout the migration project lifecycle.
What You Need to Bring to the Table:
* You must have a proven history of windows server migrations within a Wintel environment and have experience with Windows OS 2012, VMWare, Citrix, ESC and LAN/WAN protocols.
* You must have worked on migration projects to cloud based platforms.
* You must be a technically strong engineer that is able to adapt to suit customer needs.
* You must have SME knowledge of Windows server 2003 – 2012.
Bonus Points! Otherwise Known As Preferred Qualifications:
* MCSE Accreditation.
