Patient / Transport Coordinator (Temp to Perm)

Day shift = 7am-7pm and the night and weekend shift = 6pm-6am…..?

Working as part of a small team, you will be responsible for ensuring adequate resource and correct mode of vehicle is available to meet the daily transportation requirements of the business. Through using your efficient planning skills, you will achieve the overall result of ensuring that all clients are delivered and collected to and from their pick up points, and destinations, including multi-drop situations.
Someone from a transport planning / multi-drop / courier / private car hire / logistics background would have a distinct advantage in this role.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Planning the drivers daily activities from availability identified within the rota.
• Reporting to the fleet any defects reported by the drivers to both vehicles and equipment.
• Taking orders from the head controller and be flexible to cover all the roles within the control centre to include those of the head controller and telephonist.
• Respond to emails requesting services or a quotation in a polite and timely manner. Following them up as swiftly as possible ensuring all those in operations are made aware, and inputting them onto the system.
• Monitor key performance indicators to meet customer expectations.
• Monitor driver performance and escalate if any concerns.
Requirements:
• Flexible approach to working hours to include working additional hours to meet the business needs.
• Ability to work varied roles to accommodate absence and annual leave.
• IT Literate to use current business.
• Geographical knowledge of London.
• Good planner and transport knowledge.
