Mechanical Estimator – Entry Level

Salary: £30,000 – £42,000 per year

Working within the white-collar market, we have long-term relationships with the leading businesses in our market. We have been engaged by one of them to assist them with their recruitment for an Entry Level Mechanical Estimator.

Our Client is a well-known independent mechanical building services contractor. As part of their expansion plans, they are looking to add to their commercial team by hiring an entry-level Mechanical Estimator.

As a Mechanical Estimator, you will be involved in wining project from the very start of the process. Working closely with the design team, the project team, and senior management, you will use estimation software to produce fast and accurate tenders in order to secure future projects.

The role of estimation is utterly crucial within any contracting business. Such companies succeed and fail on their success with winning solidly profitable business. The estimation department is key in this regard. My Client likes to develop their people from the ground up, hence they are looking to hire an “entry-level” mechanical estimator.

Who are we looking for? I am looking to speak to candidates with a solid grounding in building services contracting. Whilst this is an “entry-level” role, my Client does require existing mechanical technical skills, experience, and qualifications. Perhaps you are coming up from the tools and have some exposure to the management side – site management / supervisory experience, for example. Maybe you are just finishing an HNC / HND in building services and looking for your first role on the management ladder. Maybe you are already working in your first Estimation role but feel the company is not right for you for some reason? Whatever your experience, if you have a solid background in mechanical building services (HVAC) and are looking to secure an Estimation role then we want to speak with you.
