Job Title: Mechanical Assembler
Location: Saffron Walden, Essex
Salary: up to £30,000p.a.
Hours: Monday – Friday 8:30am – 17:00 (37.5 hours)
Contract Type: Full time, permanent
Sector: Manufacturing & Logistics
Our client based in Saffron Walden, Essex is seeking a Mechanical Assembler to join their team on a full time, permanent basis.
As Mechanical Assembler your duties will include:
- Assembling product to specification
- Quality checks
- Testing new & existing products
- Following test procedures and updating documents as required
- Assisting with identifying possible improvements to procedures to maximise efficiency
- Supporting other departments as required
- Liaising with Production and Supply Chain to ensure targets are achieved.
An ideal candidate for the Mechanical Assembler will have:
- Previous mechanical assembly experience (not essential)
- Ability to read technical drawings
- IT literacy including MS Office
- Strong practical/assembly skills
- Can-do attitude
