Statistical Programmers – Home-Based (Sas)

Great opportunity to join a well-respected international company as a Statistical Programmer with excellent career prospects. Our client has two vacancies, a Senior Statistical Programmer and a Principal Statistical Programmer. These roles have the flexibility of working from home as part of a virtual team.

The Senior Statistical Programmer will be responsible for supporting programming activities related to the analysis and reporting of data, using programming techniques to produce derived datasets tables, figures and data listings and assisting in the production and quality control of analysis plans. You will also be responsible for project activities including coordinating and leading statistical programming teams, setting statistical programming timelines and monitoring project budgets and identify changes in scope. You will be required to liaise closely with internal teams to ensure compliance with guidelines and regulations and provide ongoing coaching and mentorship to staff and project teams.

Further responsibilities for the Principal Statistical Programmer will include test data creation and test data entry, import/export programming functional testing and producing mapping specifications to support relevant data standards. You will also provide leadership, stakeholder management and project management for the required programming tasks and develop and deliver technical training seminars and courses.

The successful candidate will have proficiency in SAS and knowledge of programming and reporting processes along with strong leadership ability and attention to detail. This is a fast moving, evolving technical environment which requires strong organisational and time management skills. Project leadership experience and good presentation skills are also essential for the Principal role.
