Design and Marketing Assistant

A leading global manufacturer are looking for a Design and Marketing Assistant to join their rapidly expanding marketing team. The role requires you to support the delivery of a structured marketing communications plan incorporating creation of artwork, PR, promotions, Exhibitions, sales presentation material and database management.

This role is ideal for a bright, enthusiastic candidate who is looking to step into a creative, design based marketing role which is hands-on and offers variety each day.

As a Design and Marketing Assistant you will be responsible for:

– Creating marketing materials using InDesign
– Writing Press Releases to draft and finished level, distributing and liaising with editors
– Creation and maintenance of brand promotional materials and brochures
– Writing engaging copy for sales and marketing material
– Organising customer specific promotional activity for major global customers
– Running product promotions and developing a sound understanding of products
– New Product Launch actions
– Management of marketing materials
– Organising and attending exhibitions
– Maintenance of media database
– Maintenance of customer database
– Provision of marketing materials and catalogue content to customers.
– Direct and some social media marketing activity to include Fax, mail, e-mail, twitter
– Support for the sales administration function
– Additional general and varied marketing and design tasks

For this Marketing Assistant role you will have:

– Experience of using InDesign or a small portfolio highlighting previous work using InDesign
– Excellent (above average) written English
– Accuracy and attention to detail must be carried out to the highest standard to ensure the brand is presented in the right manner
– A Level minimum or educated to Degree level
