Salary: £26,000 – £36,000 per year
2D/3D Cad Design Engineer, £20,000-£30,000, Harrogate
An established international Software business is looking to appoint an experienced CAD Design Engineer. You will mainly be working to support their software platform.
It is a varied position, requiring a broad skill set with the occasional requirement for international travel.
To be considered you should be experienced in 2D/3D modeling and have worked in the construction industry.
Main duties will include
– Project estimating and modelling
– Onsite/online software demonstration to support sales.
– Materials creation (presentation, models, videos)
– Define best practice/solutions for customer specific projects
– Client Training
– Client Technical support
– Participation at tradeshows/seminars
– Software Customisation
– Software Testing
Ideally you should have
– At least 2 years experience in the construction industry, preferably in steel/timber frame.
– Engineering/technical knowledge.
-Ideally educated to degree level in a relevant discipline
– Strong 2D/3D modelling skills.
– Be able to work under low supervision and prioritise tasks effectively.
– Ability to learn new software tools quickly and adapt.
– Strong problem solving skills.
– Flexibility.
– Full Driving license.
-Ability to occasionally travel overseas when required

Salary is dependent on experience
