ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT

Salary: £20,000 – £27,000 + Excellent Benefits

Role: Permanent / Full Time

Location: Watford, Hertfordshire

Assistant Accountant /Accounts Administrator

Our client, a reputable and well established Company are currently seeking a conscientious Accounts Administrator / Assistant Accountant to act as a primary assistant to the financial controller relating to day to day general accounting tasks, accounts receivable issues, accounts payable invoice processing and other customer and accounting requests, as well as assisting accountants with financial and management reporting requirements.

The ideal Accounts Assistant will have the ability to handle multi tasks, work under pressure, good data entry skills, will be proficient with word processing, database and spreadsheet packages (specifically Microsoft Word & Excel), have good accounting knowledge, will be friendly, a team player and be a comfortable communicator, with both clients and colleagues.

Knowledge, skills and experience:

– General accounting knowledge required

– Experience in reconciling accounts

– Strong system knowledge i.e. excel

– Inquisitive nature and strong organisational skills

– Experience in handling queries
