Maintenance Joiner / Handyman

Working for one of the UK’s largest and leading Facilities Management / Building Maintenance companies who turn over £2 Billion and employ over 60,000 people throughout the world. They offer job security and career progression.

You will be working on mobile basis (van provided) around north Manchester on a number of commercial office buildings owned by the government.

Your job will be to assist with the maintenance and up keep of the offices. You will be carrying out a range of maintenance tasks which will include maintenance joinery – hanging fire doors, replacing door hindges, locks etc and other maintenance tasks including – changing lighting lamps, carrying out water hygiene checks, testing emergency lights, changing filters on air handling / air conditioning units, basic DIY plumbing etc. You will need joinery experience but the rest will be explained.

You will be part of the team on site that help keep the contract functioning. You will be working normal working hours from 8am – 5pm Mon – Fri. You will be given the chance to work overtime on the evenings and weekends if desired. Overtime in the week and Saturday morning is time and a half, Saturday afternoon and Sunday is double time.

Immediate start available, the job is initial temp but will turn perm for the right person.

Weekly pay via BACS either PAYE, own Ltd or umbrella.
