Bus CCTV / Comms Maintenance Engineer (Nights)

Large sized professionally run rail comms solutions company seek Maintenance engineer with experience of Bus CCTV, PA/VA, CIS, and other electrical systems to undertake maintenance works on predominately vehicles across depots in the south-east. The engineer will be ideally located in Herts, Bucks, Berks, Hamps, Surrey or London.

The business specialise in CCTV and other Comms systems such as Passenger information systems across the Bus & Rail sector and have established themselves as a business who a always pushing innovation.

The candidates main duties will be

+ To Service & maintain CCTV and our EcoManager product into fleet vehicles as required
+ To maintain and send reports to the Operations Manager/Team on the installs carried out after each shift.
+ Working as part of a team of engineers at fleet depots throughout the UK which includes night shifts of 10 hour duration.
+ To install, maintain and repair Passenger Information Systems.

The role will be working in 4 x 10 hour nights shifts from approx. 6pm – 4am, you will largely working in an autonomous manner organising your own shift so the start time is flexible to your needs, if you wish to work the 5th day, that will be paid at an overtime rate of £240a day which if worked all year add £10,400 to your basic salary. There will further be a call out rota which will add a great deal of remuneration to your salary.

This will be a mobile role and you would be working within the South-East region at various depots and your role would include the maintenance of CCTV, Comms and other electrical systems upon Fleet vehicles in the bus environment. As part of your role you would receive on-going training in order to develop your engineering skills in disciplines you may be lacking in order to provide the chance for success & progression within this highly professional company.
