Software Engineer

Salary: £48,000 – £60,000 per year

SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER / SOFTWARE ENGINEER / PROGRAMMER

LOCATION: Office based in South Tyneside, with a Hybrid approach allowing you to be at home part of the week. You may be searching for software programmer jobs in South Tyneside, South Shields, Jarrow, Sunderland, Gateshead, Wallsend, Hebburn, East Boldon, North Shields, River Tyne or Tyne and Wear Software jobs.

SALARY: £48,000 – £60,000, 25 days holiday, company pension scheme.

HOURS: Mon – Thurs 37.5 hr week. Semi-flexible hours.

You will be an ambitious software developer, covering the whole software lifecycle including requirements gathering, specification writing, R&D, system modifications and legacy systems support; primarily using the latest technology in the Microsoft stack in combination with iOS and Android mobile solutions. The projects are extremely varied, with a client portfolio of local, national and international private sector companies as well as high-profile public-sector organisations and charities.

Must have:

* development experience in the following languages: Java,.NET/C#, JavaScript, Object orientated programming in.NET & C#, ASP.NET MVC, SP.NET Core, Entity Framework, LINQ, MS SQL Server, JavaScript/jQuery, HTML5, CSS3.

* strong coding and analytical skills.

* great communication skills, can articulate complex ideas.

* demonstrable imaginative problem-solving skills.

* the ability to create solid maintainable code.

Desirable:

* experience in one or more of these languages: Angular, React, React Native, Android (Java), Swift/Objective-C, Azure/AWS.
