Homeless Support Worker (Bank Staff)

We are recruiting for Homeless Support Workers for temporary contracts with our client based in East London
The ideal candidate must have previous experience working with homeless service users in a residential hostel who have drug and alcohol and mental health issues.

We are looking for smartly presented professional to work in our client’s busy Centre in East London.

You MUST HAVE experience in Health & Social Care, and hold an NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care.

You must have a current DBS or be willing to apply for one at your own costs.

You must be honest and reliable, and have the ability to work within a team, and on your own.

Experience with challenging and aggressive behaviour is essential.

Good computer skills are important, as you will also be asked to cover the Reception area.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate appropriately with residents and staff.

Previous relevant work experience in dealing with vulnerable adults would also be an advantage.

You must be able to work within the client’s ethos.
