Salary: £54,000 – £60,000 per year

As a software engineer within the R&D team you will develop innovative mobile apps in an Agile environment.

Duties include;

* Collaborate with wider teams to create great apps that work with world class products

* Work with existing apps to fix issues and add new functionality

* Produce clear, documented code and engage in peer code review

* Degree qualified in Computer Science, Software Engineering or similar engineering related discipline

* Demonstrable competency in one or more technical areas

* Demonstrable experience developing mobile apps

* A proven track record of shipping reliable and maintainable software

* 3+ years of software development

Core skills;

* Android development experience using Android Studio

* Good working knowledge of Java and Kotlin

* Familiarity with REST interfaces

* Up to date knowledge of Android mobile technologies

Bonus skills;

* In depth knowledge of Android frameworks

* Proactive approach to documentation and collaborative development

* Unit testing, Automated UI testing and Test Driven Development

* Proven experience shipping high profile apps on the Google Play store

* UX/UI design

* Continuous delivery using Jenkins/Fastlane or other preferably cloud based build system.
