Area: Smethwick, Birmingham
Pay: £22.8 /hr

Hours: 8:30am-4pm Mon – Thurs

8:30am – 3pm Friday

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced contract MIG/TIG Welder to join a well-known established company in the heart Smethwick area of Birmingham

This role is offered on a full time, contracted basis, working on a new project. Further projects are high likely and could last 3months+

We are seeking MIG/TIG Welders experienced in Aluminium down to 3mm thickness.

As a Production Welder your duties will include:

* Working within a busy, fast paced environment

* MIG/TIG welding Aluminium 3mm thick

* Working as part of a close team and have the initiative to work on your own accord

* Ensuring customer daily KPI’S are met.

* Welding of frames onto mesh wiring

As a warehouse Operative you will have the following skills and experience:

* Previous experience of working in a manufacturing welding environment

* Strong MIG/TIG welding experience

* Good verbal and written communication skills

* Must be able to travel to Smethwick

* Candidate must have a flexible approach to working hours

* Experience with Aluminium

Overtime may become available at premium rates.
