Front of House / Hospitality Team Member

Front of House / Hospitality Team Member required for contemporary celebration & corporate venue in Skipton.
The ideal candidates will have a catering background, preferably in an events venue.

Duties:
Work at a variety of events; from small Dinners to large Weddings and Parties
To ensure all preparations have been completed prior to opening of all service areas and that these conform to agreed standards
Serving Food and Drinks in a professional and correct manner
Looking after our guests, showing exemplary customer service and professionalism
To liaise with colleagues including kitchen staff, to ensure a smooth and efficient service

Additional Responsibilities:
To take responsibility of checking when you are expected to work, arrive in plenty of time to clock in at your shift start time, prepared and ready for work
To understand you will be required to be flexible with your working patterns so as to meet the needs of the business
To be an excellent “team player” who will form part of a happy, effective and highly motivated team
To adhere to businesses standards at all times and always present and conduct yourself in a professional manner to colleagues, internal and external clients
To report any Health and Safety issues to your line manager, in order for relevant action to be taken
To demonstrate a flexible attitude and be prepared to carry out any other reasonable tasks as requested by any member of the management team
To conform to standards relating to personal hygiene and appearance

Hours of working are 9am-4pm including some weekend working when required.
