Location:
West Midlands (commutable from Birmingham, Erdington, Solihull, Walsall, Sutton Coldfield, Coleshill, Tamworth, Coventry, Leicester, Burton-upon-Trent).

The Company:
A world leading automotive component supplier to the major OEM’s seeking to recruit a Packaging Engineer to support its global capabilities.

Purpose of the Role:
o Ensure all packaging requirements are met
o Ensure that all systems and paperwork are completed in line with customer requirements.
o Support all suppliers with packaging requirements
o Cover customer analyst roles as and when required.

Duties & Responsibilities:
o Complete all EU1121 forms when required and maintain the system (PRO 1V, routes and photos, etc.)
o Communicate and support all customers to ensure their packaging requirements are met.
o Communicate and support all suppliers if and when required for any special packaging requirements.
o Deal with any quality issues arising from packaging and resolve issues with the relevant logistics team.
o Attend APQP and action all packaging related issues (when requested).
o Control all packaging aspects of new part introduction.
o Liaise regarding CHEP implications.
o Provide a monthly report on pallets status.
