Operations Analyst
Full job description
Revision Recruitment
Salary: £33,600 – £42,000 per year
My client are a start up company with a difference
As a manufacturer and supplier of high end FMCG products to the UK markets – both online and on the high street – they are growing at a formidable rate, prompting their move into new manufacturing facilities in Cambridgeshire last year.
With the focus now firmly on improvements in processes and efficiencies, they are looking to hire an Operations Analyst to provide the link between the commercial aspects of the process, and the factory production performance. As the Operations Analyst, you will be responsible for driving cost improvements across the Factory working with both senior leaders across the Business and the wider factory team. My client have a direct-to-consumer supply chain, and they are looking to optimise operations to give customers freshness, range, value and speed. With the data captured in this role, they are hoping to provide insights and recommendations for growth and development, and as such, this role has significant development opportunities.
Your day to day responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
– Data Capture: You will be hands-on and eager to learn about the operation in the factory in order to set up and develop data capture processes.
– Analysis: You will be carrying out analysis on all operations data to spot opportunities for continuous and cost improvements. You will also be looking to identify issues before they become a problem.
– Stakeholder management: You will be working with senior stakeholders to both translate their needs into actionable insights and reports, as well as challenging their current processes and norms where the data dictates.
– Dashboarding: Create new metrics, reports and visualisations across the Operations team.
Ideally you will have 2-3 years experience in an analytics based role, which is focussed on data measurement, capture and interpretation. A degree or vocational qualification in a finance, business or economics linked subject is of interest, but not essential as superb skills in Excel, SQL and MS Office is preferred.
My client offer a good starting salary and benefits package, with the scope for growth in this role largely based on the successful candidate.
