Salary: £26,000 per year
I am looking for a Site Engineer to join a Tier 1 civil engineering contractor in their ever expanding team on a £1bn station upgrade in London. Works include the realignments of the existing rail system and the demolition and rebuild of the existing station including piling, heavy RC works, steel erection and fitout. The project is midway through completion and works will continue well into 2017.
As site engineer you will be responsible for:
– Preparing and implementing method statements
– Site QA and record keeping
– Setting out for direct gangs and sub-contractors
– Ordering of materials
Skills Required:
– A Degree, Bachelors, MSc or HND in Civil Engineering
– Experience dealing with client and subcontractors
– Experience with a main contractor
– Ability to read engineering drawings
– Experience with AutoCAD and Microsoft word programs
– Experience with set out and surveying equipment
