Support Worker/Enabler
Fulltime – Permanent
Location – Keighley

Responsibilities and Duties

You will have a responsibility to the people we support ensuring that they are in receipt of quality service and that all company policies, procedures and standards are implemented within their working practice at all times

You will ensure confidentiality is maintained regarding service users, that individuals are afforded dignity and respect at all times and to be an appropriate role model and mentor to the individuals we support and colleagues. The role is central to the services provided by the company and is critical in the delivery of quality from consumers’ perspective.

The Core Skills that you will have are:

•your Code of Behaviour is always respectful and dignified
•you understand the people you are supporting
•that individuals are encouraged and supported to be involved in all aspects of their lives
•you can identify, assess and meet the needs of the people you are supporting
•you can identify risks and deal with difficult situations
•you can enable the people you support to lead ordinary lifestyles
•you are supporting individuals in all aspects of their day to day lives
•you are able to ensure that the administration is kept up to date
•you are responsible for the quality of your work
•you are responsible for Fire, Health & Safety
•You are able to provide health care to individuals you are supporting as and when required.
•You will need to be flexible as the role may include working evenings, weekends and sleep overs
