Registered Nurse – Nursing Home

37.5 hours per year – salary £30,000 – £35,400per annum

Our client is a not for profit organisation and are looking to recruit Registered Nurses for their Nursing Home in Brentwood, Essex.

Reporting to the Service Manager, you will be responsible for delivering nursing care to older people who cannot live independently, and older people with learning disabilities who require nursing care. Management responsibilities include supervision, performance management, mentoring/coaching team, and deputising for the Service Manager.

You will need
 to be a Registered General Nurse
 ideally you will have clinical nursing experience/or experience of working with people with learning disabilities
 experience of working with older people (is desirable)
 have the ability to work a 24 hour shift pattern (which includes some weekends)
 leadership/supervision experience (is desirable)
 good written and verbal communication skills

Your expertise will include
 administering medication, injections and PEG feeds
 you will have received training in manual handing, first aid, food hygiene, health & safety
 have basic IT skills (Word, Excel and email)
Desirable experience: syringe drivers, catheters, administration of oxygen & PBM training
