Registered Nurse (Cosmetic Surgery)
We are currently recruiting on behalf of a London based facial cosmetic surgery clinic, you would be part of a small specialised team working with a renowned facial cosmetic surgeon. Our client is seeking a nurse with experience in surgery, to work part time.
About the Role
You will work as part of a small multidisciplinary team, working closely with one of Europe’s top facial cosmetic surgeons. This is a diverse role and your tasks will include the following:
Pre-operative surgical assessment, preparing patients for surgery ensuring they are physically and emotionally fit and prepared for their procedure.
Providing an outstanding level of care throughout patient journey.
Supporting Dr to prepare for surgery. Assisting surgical procedure, scrubbing and recovering patients.
Providing patient care post surgery.
Carrying out post surgical wound assessments and managing wound care.
You will have the opportunity to become a specialist in facial cosmetic and plastic surgery assisting surgeries such as; face lifts, eye lifts and nose reshaping.
About you
will be an RGN with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Able to work as part of a small team and under your own initiative.
You will be able to build rapport with patients offering them reassurance and support throughout their surgery.
You will have a minimum of 3 years post registration experience, and experience working in a surgical setting (as a Scrub Nurse, Recovery Nurse, Surgical Assistant or Theatre Nurse).
Salary and Benefits
Salary is negotiable and very much dependant on your qualifications and level of experience.
This role has the potential to grow into a full time role within the next few months.
