Sales and Marketing Executive

THE COMPANY:

Brewster Pratap are exclusively recruiting for a leading manufacturing business with sites in Retford and York. Due to business relocation they are currently recruiting 2 suitably experienced Sales and Marketing Executives to support the existing business while securing new business either from existing customers or attracting new customers. The role will be achieved through key account management and involve direct interaction with customers at regular intervals. The role will also involve the production of sales and marketing materials which may be extended to promotional presentations, standard quotation templates, internal communications from the commercial team and weekly performance dashboards.

THE JOB:

Reporting to the Marketing Manager the duties will include, but not be exhaustive of:

– Establishing, developing and maintaining existing relationships with customers and distributors on a regular basis.

– Growing sales volume for core products.

– Visiting customers regularly.

– Completing quotations and follow up within a timely fashion.

– Actively prospect new customer accounts for the business in collaboration with business development.

– Deploy resource to the marketing function for social media, preparation of the newsletter and other general marketing administration support.

– Ensuring presentation materials are available to the team.

– Ensuring standard quotation templates are in place.

– Generating sales reports.

– Actively manage social media accounts.

All applicants must have proven and successful experience of:

– Producing sales presentations and materials.

– Communicating effectively across all levels of the business.

– Working with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and internal intranet software.

– Previous experience in a sales and/or marketing role would be highly desirable.

PLEASE NOTE THAT FOR THE FIRST 2-3 MONTHS WHILST TRAINING THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT WILL BE REQUIRED TO TRAVEL TO HARROGATE MONDAY TO THURSDAY (mileage will be reimbursed).

THE BENEFITS:

Salary: £26,000 per yeardepending on experience, annual discretionary bonus, pension. Hours of work are 39 p/w Monday to Thursday 8.30am-5pm, Friday 8.30am-4pm.
