Cunningham Lindsey is proud to be the largest Global Loss Adjuster and without our talented employees we could not deliver our promises to our clients. Quite simply, we value our staff and the contribution they make.

Reporting to the UK HR Director, you’ll support the Business and the HR function by providing a comprehensive and customer centric Recruitment service to managers and employees within the UK. Our business can be weather dependant, so it’s essential that the successful candidate is flexible and resourceful in their approach to the job whilst being the ‘go to’ person for technical advice.

The primary function of the role will be to ensure you drive down and manage the cost of recruitment within the organisation, whilst ensuing that the correct level and quality of candidates is presented to all hiring managers. The role will be a mixture of strategic and operational responsibilities, so we’re looking for an individual that can contribute and implement ideas, whilst being able to literally ‘roll up their sleeves’ and support the operational requirements in busier periods. We want you to challenge in a positive way, understand the pressure of deadlines, build key stakeholder relationships and be looking for variety in your next career move.

You’ll be supported by a dedicated recruitment resource for our Glasgow and Cardiff operations who will manage the day to day activity in terms of volume. In addition, you’ll be working with a back office support business partner, giving you the autonomy to decide what support you require from either a fully or part outsourced managed service. Communication will be your responsibility, so it’s essential that you have strong communication and key stakeholder management skills. Travel will be to our key sites to provide interview support and training on an as and when basis. Locations include: Glasgow, Cardiff, Manchester, Leeds, Birmingham, Solent, Reading and Fenchurch Street in London. This will involve the occasional overnight stay. The provision of Recruitment management information will also form an essential part of your role.

You’ll also be responsible for:
* Increasing the use of direct recruitment and alternative methods of attraction through varying social media.
* Proactively managing the preferred supplier list and negotiating rates outside of our PSL for specialist roles.
* Applicant tracking system management and administration.

* Support the Business and the HR team with the Recruitment process including identifying and implementing change relating to process, systems and ways of working.
* The role will also include the provision of classroom based training to our manager’s on our Recruitment methods. The audience will be of mixed ability, so it’s essential that you can confidently present and have adequate in-house recruitment experience.

About you:

It’s essential that you’ll come from an in-house recruitment post and ideally have worked with 3rd party suppliers/offshore recruitment business partnering, as well as:
* The ability to build and maintain core business relationships with key stakeholders.
* Previous PSL Management and 3rd party advertising experience – essential.
* Must have relevant experience in a fast-paced in house recruitment role.
